UPSC CDS Selection Process-

UPSC Selection Process having four stages-
1. Written Exam: 
  •  Composed Exam comprises of Objective Type inquiries and time span 2hrs and greatest imprints is 100 for every subject. 
  •  For the competitors who are showing up for Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air power Academy composed test containing English, General Knowledge and Elementary arithmetic subjects and for applicants who are showing up for officers preparing foundation the composed test involving English and General Knowledge. 
  •  Competitors who are pronounced effective in the composed exam will be definite for insight and identity test at the Service Selection Board in view of their inclination, by the particular administration HQ. 

2. Interview/ Personality Test: The applicants who are chosen in composed test are called for meeting. The SSB system comprises of two phase determination process-Stage I and Stage II. Just those competitors who clear the stage I are allowed to show up for Stage II. 

 
  a. Stage I involves Officers Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests are Picture Perception Description Test (P&DT). The hopefuls will be shortlisted taking into account mix of execution in QIR Test and PP and DT. 
  b. Stage II involves Interview, Group Testing Officers Tasks, Psychology Tests and the meeting. These testicles are directed more than 4 days . 
The identity of hopeful is surveyed by three unique assessors viz. the talking Officer (IO), Group Testing Officer (GTO) and the Psychologist. There are no seperate weightage for every test. The imprints are designated by assessors simply in the wake of mulling over the execution of the competitor comprehensively in all the test. 
 
3. Document Verification: Document Verification will be led simply after the competitor has met all requirements for Interview/Personality Test. 
 
4. Medical Examination: A Candidate suggested by the Services Selection Board will experience a therapeutic examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers. Ladies hopefuls will experience Medical Examination by a Medical Board involving male/female specialists/authorities/Gynecologist. There will be a Lady Medical Officer as individual from Board. Just those competitors will be admitted to the Academy who are pronounced fit by the Medical Board.
